23,000+
children in the United States suffer cardiac arrest outside a hospital every year, and about 40% of those cases are tied to sports.[1]
#1
Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading medical cause of death in young athletes.[2]
1 in 30
Roughly 1 in 30 Las Vegas youth athletes screened by Vegas for Athletes had a heart abnormality: 45 kids out of about 1,300.[3]
617
617 players worldwide suffered sudden death or cardiac arrest on the soccer field in just five years... and that's only one sport.[4]

Every year, thousands of “healthy” kids go into cardiac arrest, while playing the sports they love.
